WHAT IS AN IRB?

The Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) is an integral piece of rescue equipment for Surf Life Saving clubs around Australia. IRB’s are used for routine patrolling duties (including roving patrols, and rescues), water safety at various Surf Life Saving and external events and on-call Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. This must be updated annually
