Since 1954, Nobby's Beach Surf Life Saving Club has proudly stood at the heart of this community. Established by a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to keeping beachgoers safe, the Club has grown into one of the Gold Coast's most respected and family-oriented surf life saving clubs. While our facilities have evolved over the decades, our commitment to protecting lives, developing future generations of lifesavers and serving our local community has remained unchanged.

Our volunteer members patrol Nobby Beach throughout the surf season, providing a vital lifesaving service while promoting beach safety and educating the community. Membership benefits
Nobby’s Beach Surf Life Saving Club has a variety of opportunities for people of all ages to become involved
Nippers is for children aged 5 to 13, who are the future of our Club and the surf life saving movement. For those a little older, there are membership opportunities for those wishing to be trained and become a proficient active surf lifesaver, and participate in voluntary beach patrols over the summer months. In addition, we also have opportunities for people to become members but do not wish to patrol but still contribute towards a worthy cause through their general support and involvement in many other facets of the Club.
Nobby’s Beach Surf Life Saving Club can provide young people with many opportunities for self development and growth. Not only making new friends, but learning important skills and values that can help them throughout their lives. Our club encourages teamwork, volunteering, leadership and community services. Each membership category provides differing benefits throughout all aspects of the club.
